Brandon is a "Big Boy" now!!

Brandon started Kindergarten on Wednesday, and we was so stinkin' happy and cute.
.
.
.
I was so proud. He didn't cry, he wasn't worried, and he was ready to face the big bad world.

It was a great day!!!

The fruits of my labor!!

Here are my first 2 cumcumbers.
.
.
Sissy thought the little one was ready so she picked it prematurely, but she said she would eat it that way, so it wasn't a total loss.
.
.
.
.
I forgot to get a pic of the squash before I cut it up, but this is just one squash. I couldn't believe how big it was.
.
..
.
I have to be honest, and not to toot my own horn, but this was the best tasting squash I have every had!!

Just remember to address me appropriately, Garden Master Sabrina!! Thank you!!

Grass at the tomb???

The Children's latest church project
.
.
We are growing grass!!!
.
.
.
.
.
For those of you who were raised in church you are very familiar with VBS, or Vacation Bible School. The kids went to an awesome vacation bible school this that was themed around outer space and it was a lot of fun.
.
.
In one of their craft classes they planted grass seeds outside of a popcicle stick cross and a garden rock tomb. The grass is in full bloom.
.
.
My question is, Why are they asking the children to grow grass around the tomb and at the foot of the cross. Is it a metaphor for planting a seed of Christ? I didn't really get, but the good news is that the grass is flourishing!!!
